The Ghost King was once a name powerful enough to inspire fear across the underworld. Then, without warning, he disappeared. His enemies assumed he was dead, his allies stopped searching, and eventually the man behind the legend became little more than a memory. But the Ghost King never died. He simply walked away. Hidden behind an ordinary identity, he now spends his days repairing cars instead of commanding people, determined to leave the violence and power of his former life behind. A quiet life, however, is difficult to protect when you were once one of the most feared men alive. As traces of his past begin resurfacing, the mechanic everyone overlooks is forced to confront the identity he tried to bury. The world may have forgotten its Ghost King—but the Ghost King hasn't forgotten how to survive.
