Cooking Instructions:
1. Measure the Rice
Use a standard measuring cup to portion the desired amount of rice into a large, heat-proof bowl. Gently shake the bowl to level the rice surface.
2. Add Boiling Water
For every 1 cup of uncooked rice, carefully pour in 1 1/4 cups of boiling water. The water should be just above the rice surface.
3. Stir Thoroughly
Immediately stir the rice and water mixture with a fork or spoon. This distributes heat evenly and prevents clumping.
4. Let it Stand
Cover the bowl tightly with a lid or plate and let it stand undisturbed for 15 minutes. This allows the rice to fully absorb the water and steam.
